Crafted by an independent artisan in Hangzhou, this one-of-a-kind cheongsam is made from rare, heritage mud-silk. It features a classic round neckline and a handmade traditional pánkòu button shaped like a phoenix. Designed with two side pockets and side slits for comfort and ease of movement.

Mud-silk (香云纱) is a rare, heritage Chinese fabric made using a centuries-old dyeing process that combines plant-based dyes with iron-rich river mud. Known for its deep brown-black sheen, soft yet structured feel, and natural breathability, it’s prized for both its beauty and durability. Still handcrafted in limited quantities, mud-silk is a symbol of traditional Southern Chinese textile artistry.
