Crafted by an independent artisan in Hangzhou, these trousers are made from rare, vintage mud-silk — it's more structured, slightly textured feel, unlike typical smooth silk. Finished with an elastic waistband and two side pockets for everyday comfort and ease.

Mud-silk (香云纱) is a rare, heritage Chinese fabric made using a centuries-old dyeing process that combines plant-based dyes with iron-rich river mud. Known for its deep brown-black sheen, soft yet structured feel, and natural breathability, it’s prized for both its beauty and durability. Still handcrafted in limited quantities, mud-silk is a symbol of traditional Southern Chinese textile artistry.
